Outdoor Play

Healthy outside play

Though our garden area is small we have planned the space to support children's learning. Outside is the mud kitchen for playing and exploring, we have dens and obstacle course to help with children's critical thinking and working as a team. Children learn to keep trying with activities that might be tricky at first.

Early Years Foundation Stage

A Perfect Fit

Key workers track all children using the EYFS, all learning is tailored for individual children ensuring they are supported to meet age appropriate goals.

Exploring out and about

Trips and outings

At Tiny Steps Preschool we are lucky enough to have woods and open spaces surrounding us. We will often go on trips to explore the local environment, taking part in bird spotting and butterfly watching! We have close links to the local school and often visit their library and huge outside classroom.
