Like you Connie and I are both parents and understand the difficult choices and decisions that we make for the best of our children, we hope that our parental insight might help us ease your minds as your children settle into pre-school.
I have worked with children for over 26 years and hold a level 5 foundation degree in childhood studies from the University of Winchester, as well as a CACHE NNEB diploma.
I am the setting Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) completing my NCFE Cache Level 3 award for SENCO in early years settings. I will help to support any children with additional needs as well as liase with other agencies when needed to ensure your child has a smooth journey through pre-school into school.
Helen works daily from 9am-3pm.

Connie Bryson

Safeguarding Lead
I have over 17 years of childcare experience and hold an NVQ level 3, I have run my own childminding service for several years giving me lots of additional experience in running my own business. I hold First aid, Food Hygiene and safeguarding certificates and will be the safeguard lead within the setting, ensuring your children are kept safe and liaising with you about any concerns.
I love to encourage and support the children in developing their interests scaffolding their play to enhance their learning and development.
Connie works daily from 9am till 3pm.

Karen Fishburn
Nursery Practitioner - Room Leader

SENCO support
Karen is a level 3 qualified practitioner who has worked with young children for over 9 years. Karen works Monday to Friday 9-3 pm . She has 2 children of her own a teenager and one who is preschool age. She particularly enjoys developing children's interests and helping them to learn new skills "Everyday is worthwhile, it's lovely just to be able to make them smile and happy." Karen is brilliant at being spontaneous and getting all children engaged in spur of the moment activities.
Karen works daily from 9-3pm.

Lauren Pepall
Nursery Practitioner
Level 2
Lauren has over 3 years of experience of working in both schools and nurseries with a range of ages.
She is looking forward to building lovely bonds with all of her keychildren while at Tiny Steps.
Lauren loves supporting children with lots of fun and messy provocations which help support children's next steps and creative thinking.
Lauren works Monday - Friday

Lou Cooper
Nursery Practitioner
Level 3 Apprenticeship
Lou has been a Nanny for over 9 years, she have 3 children of her own, one with special needs. She loves developing young minds and helping to ensure they reach their milestones. Smiles and cuddles are the most important to me. I have a keen interest in helping children with special needs. Being a mum to a son with autism i know the struggles parents face and helping support is my main goal.
Lou works Monday-Thursday.

Vicky Fisher
Nursery Practitioner
Level 3
Wellbeing Lead
Vicky is a level 3 qualified practitioner who has returned to working with children after raising her own. Vicky has a daughter who she says keeps her on her toes.
She enjoys supporting and encouraging children to use and develop their imagination when playing, especially in the home corner, she loves using different voices to be certain characters.
Vicky works daily from 9-3pm.

Helen Dawes
Helen is a level 3 qualified practitioner who is just beginning to work within early years. She will be with us Mon-Fri 9am-1pm.
She has a family of her own and has lots of experience of looking after young children.
Helen is really looking forward to being able to use her qualification in an early years setting, she really enjoys getting to know new children and helping them grow and develop by exploring their own interests.
Helen works daily from 9-1pm and Wednesday 9-3pm.

Holly Heaven
Holly has worked in childcare for the last 18 years so has lots of experience in helping children grow and develop.
She has some experience of being a nanny and also working in a contact centre.
Holly has some experience of working in a school so is able to support our children with their next steps in getting ready for school.
Holly has a wonderful 7 year old daughter who is great fun.
Holly works Monday and Friday 9- 3 pm.
