Helen Heath

Owner/ Manager
Level 5 Degree in Childhood Studies

Like you Connie and I are both parents and understand the difficult choices and decisions that we make for the best of our children, we hope that our parental insight might help us ease your minds as your children settle into pre-school.
I have worked with children for over 20 years and hold a level 5 foundation degree in childhood studies from the University of Winchester, as well as a CACHE NNEB diploma. 
I am the setting Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and will help to support any children with additional needs as well as liase wih other agencies when needed to ensure your child has a smooth journey through pre-school into school.


Connie Bryson

Level 3 NVQ
Safeguarding Lead

I have over 12 years of childcare experience and hold an NVQ level 3, I have run my own childminding service for several years giving me lots of additional experience in running my own business. I hold First aid, Food Hygiene and safeguarding certificates and will be the safeguard lead within the setting, ensuring your children are kept safe and liaising with you about any concerns.
I love to encourage and support the children in developing their interests scaffolding their play to enhance their learning and development.


Courtney Little

Nursery Practitioner
Level 2

Courtney is a level 2 qualified member of staff, she works Monday to Friday 9-3. Courtney really enjoys the craft area and will often be seen getting messy with paint, water and lots of exciting new play ideas! She is a new addition to the team but had been a student with us for a year previously and has a lovely caring manner especially with children who need a little extra nurturing.


Karen Fishburn

Nursery Practitioner
Level 3

Karen is a level 3 qualified practitioner who has worked with young children for over 9 years. Karen works Monday to Friday 9-3 pm . She has 2 children of her own a teenager and one who is preschool age. She particularly enjoys developing children's interests and helping them to learn new skills "Everyday is worthwhile, it's lovely just to be able to make them smile and happy." Karen is brilliant at being spontaneous and getting all children engaged in spur of the moment activities.


Sarah Mines

Nursery Practitioner
Level 2 - Training level 3 NVQ

Sarah is a level 2 qualified practitioner who has worked with children for 5 years and loves that each day is different and you never know what the day might bring! Sarah works Monday to Friday 8.30 - 2.30 and is now training to complete her level 3! Sarah has 3 children of her own who keep her busy too!
Sarah is often found in the book corner and loves supporting children's interest through stories, songs and exciting puppet shows. She is brilliant at planning activities around the children's interests.


Charmaine Chapman

Nursery Practitioner 
Level 3

Charmaine is a level 3 qualified practitioner who has worked with young children for over 11 years. She works Mon-Fri 8.30 - 12.30.
She is a busy mum to 6 children so understands all the trials and tribulations that can occur for parents. 
Charmaine enjoys watching children grow and challenge themselves and feels it's important for them to have a voice. She loves taking on new challenges and expanding her knowledge.
