About Tiny Steps Pre-school
One Step Ahead
Tiny Steps Pre-school is based in a learning through play ethos this allows children to freely explore and develop their learning while building on their own interests.
We work closely with parents, who understand their children best, to gain insight into your child's likes and dislikes, this insight helps to inform our provision and how we support individual children.
Ofsted say "Children love to come to this stimulating and nurturing setting. They happily play by themselves and with their friends. Children behave well and learn to be considerate of others. For example, children share their toys fairly by using a sand timer. They make good progress from their individual starting points"
Exploring and discovering
Outdoor Play
Tiny steps has a free-flow policy meaning that the garden area will be available for as much of the session as possible. Children will be free to explore and discover new things potentially with slightly messy outcomes, be prepared no best clothes here!!
Ever changing
Our resources will be forever shifting based on what the children are enjoying and interested in currently. Provision will be enhanced with a range of things to prompt and support them within their play.

From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, the children at Tiny Steps Pre-school are constantly being exposed to new activities and environments in which to thrive.
